So last night Kami and I went on a date to go see the movie "Marley & Me". In case you are unaware of the premise of the movie it is about how a newly married couple decides to get a dog and then the story progresses forward about 10 years with normal family stuff. If you haven't seen the movie I will try not to ruin it, but let's just say it is sad at the end.
What I found interesting about the movie was how much it got to me. No matter what their dog did, at the end of the day they still couldn't imagine life without Marley. That is the same thing with us and Mojo. No matter how many times I threaten him when he wakes up Alivia with his barking, or he decides to use his "inside bathroom", I could not imagine not having him around. There are times when we go somewhere and he stays behind with my sister or Kami's parents that we really miss him. The mom on the movie said it best at the end of the show when she said that their family started with Marley. Ours started with Mojo before Alivia was even a thought, and we will definetly miss Mojo when he is no longer with us. It is hard to even type that he will not be around some day. If you are a pet lover you know what I mean. Pets are a great addition to any family and each one has their own unique personalities.

OMG! That movie was horrible! (I found your blog! yay!) My friend Michelle and I went (both dog lovers and owners) and despite the beer we smuggled in we were still bawling by the end! The worst part for me was Marley is a dead ringer to my dog Charlie - especially the last scene when he's old and white (charlie is an ivory lab cross). I had even read the book and knew what to expect - but all I kept thinking was CHARLIE!
